Our Story

Founded in 2009, ACTUWIT began with a bold idea: to deliver expert actuarial services to a new venture launched by a prominent Canadian loyalty marketing executive.

What started as a focused consultancy has since evolved into a dynamic firm offering a broad spectrum of services, including association insurance marketing and product development, mergers and acquisition support, actuarial valuations, expert witness services in insurance litigation, and custom software development.

In recent years, ACTUWIT has expanded its expertise to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time - climate change.

We now support insurance companies and actuaries in climate risk management and product innovation. In 2024, we launched our proprietary climate change modeling software, followed by the release of our Weather Hazard Insurance product in the summer of 2025.
